Village Day 2017

Village Day 2017: Bunbury on Safari

Yes we have a SAFARI theme for 2017!

One again the Jubilee playing fields and the roads on the parade will be transformed – this year with a Safari theme. The roar of native Bunbury elephants will echo around the village as the natives watch displays of hunting birds, tuck into delicious cakes and burgers, listen to a native (to Chester anyway!) brass band and watch sumo football!

As usual there will be much to entertain all of the safari goers, with cliffs to climb, bucking broncos and more sedate donkeys. A full list is below and will be added to, so please keep looking.

Tucker will be supplied by the local WI as well as the on-safari camp fires (BBQs). The watering hole will be open for all adults to imbibe in the local brews.

All of this will be overlooked by the Chief Warden and his team of motley rangers – (please do not feed the wild rangers).

Dont forget: To come dressed for a Safari.
