Congratulations to Pete McCleave OBE on his well-deserved recognition in The King’s Birthday Honours.
Many visitors to Bunbury Village Day will know Pete as the charismatic host of our Arena Games, bringing humour, energy and plenty of good-natured mischief to the afternoon.
Away from the microphone, Pete is the founder of 10’000 Donors, a remarkable campaign raising awareness of blood cancer and encouraging people to join the stem cell donor register. His efforts have helped inspire tens of thousands of new donor registrations and potentially life-saving matches for patients in need.
Pete has been awarded an OBE for services to blood cancer awareness and charity. A fantastic achievement and one that is richly deserved.
