A New School Year. A New Adventure?

A New School Year. A New Adventure?

As a new school year begins, many families will be thinking about activities that help children build confidence, make friends and learn new skills outside the classroom. Bunbury Scouts offers exactly that, with places available across Beavers, Cubs and Scouts for young people who are ready for their next adventure.

From outdoor activities and games to camping, creative challenges, teamwork and practical skills, every meeting offers something different. Along the way, young people develop confidence, resilience, independence and leadership, often without even realising they’re learning. Just as importantly, they have great fun, make lasting friendships and become part of a welcoming local community.

Whether your child is taking their very first steps with Beavers, ready for bigger challenges with Cubs or looking for adventure and responsibility in Scouts, there’s something for everyone. Scouting helps young people discover what they’re capable of while encouraging them to support others, try new experiences and enjoy the outdoors.

Like many community organisations, Bunbury Scouts also relies on volunteers. If you’re an adult who could spare some time, whether that’s helping occasionally, supporting a particular activity or becoming a regular volunteer, you’d be made very welcome. You don’t need previous Scouting experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness to help young people thrive.

If you’d like to find out more about joining Beavers, Cubs or Scouts, or about volunteering, we’d love to hear from you.
